Calcium Chloride Deicer Flake And Pellet For Road And Airport Pavement


Calcium Chloride Deicer is formulated for road, bridge, and airport pavement maintenance in low-temperature conditions. The product is based on calcium chloride flake or pellet with controlled particle size distribution, designed for uniform spreading and consistent melting action.

Applications and Usage

The deicer is applied by truck-mounted spreaders at rates of 20–40 g/m². It works at surface temperatures down to -32°C in dry form. For pre-wetting, a 30% calcium chloride solution is used to improve adhesion and reduce bounce loss. The product can be blended with sodium chloride in ratios of 20%–30% calcium chloride by mass. Store in sealed bags to prevent moisture absorption.
