Applications and Usage
In oil and gas drilling, anhydrous calcium chloride is used to prepare completion and workover fluids with density ranges of 1.30–1.50 g/cm³, helping control formation pressure. In construction, it accelerates cement setting in cold-weather concrete pouring at dosages of 1%–2% by cement weight. It also serves as a desiccant in gas drying units and as a raw material in chemical synthesis. For storage, keep bags sealed in a dry environment with relative humidity below 50%.
